Breakfast “Grilled Cheese”

21 Mar

I’m normally a bacon and eggs kind of girl, but every once in a while I will crave syrupy sweetness in the morning, and this does the trick. I’m sure it be nice for a naughty late night snack as well. It is really easy, takes less then 6 minutes and you probably have the ingredients in your fridge.

Dessert/Breakfast “Grilled Cheese”
2 Eggo Waffles
Cream cheese
Jelly or Preserves (Whatever flavor suits you.)
Syrup & Powdered Sugar (Optional)

1. Heat up griddle on medium to high, Lightly butter both sides of  FROZEN Eggos and place on griddle.  When you feel them thaw a bit and get golden flip them, then add your desired amount of jelly and cream cheese.

2. Place other Eggo on top of the other, making a sandwich, and viola! I was extra bad and garnished with a little syrup and powdered sugar. Cut it, and shared it with my little one! We enjoy this indulgence together making it extra special!

(I took pictures on my phone so sorry for the quality) This picture does no justice for your taste buds!
